Program Mission Statement
The mission of the Bossier High School Counseling Program is to develop life-long learners for a skilled workforce by providing data-driven, technology-rich, comprehensive activities which focus on empowering all students to reach their fullest academic, social, emotional, and physical potential for postsecondary and career success.
Goal I: Academic Development
A.Students will become effective learners possessing the attitudes, knowledge and skills necessary for success in a wide range of work force development and post-secondary options.
Goal II: Career Development
Students will acquire the skills to investigate the world of work through interpersonal assessment to make informed career decisions.
Goal III: Personal Social and Emotional Development
Students will gain the attitude, knowledge, and skills necessary to relate to others and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and those around them.
