As the start of the 2026-27 school year draws near, required online registration for all new and returning Bossier Parish students in grades K-12 begins Wednesday, July 15.   

When the secure registration portal goes live, parents/primary guardians will be able to upload required documentation. For returning students, updated contact information and current proof of residence are required. Students who did not attend a Bossier Parish school the previous year will complete a new student registration and upload required documents.   

A valid email address is mandatory for all parents/primary guardians to complete the registration process. For those without one, an email address can be created using this Google link. You can access the email with the Google Gmail App on your phone.   

Visit https://www.bossierschools.org/page/registration to register, for general enrollment questions, information about placement tests for incoming students, and a school finder for families unsure what school their child will attend. 

Families needing in-person assistance to register their student can make an appointment to visit the Parent Center beginning July 21 by calling (318) 549-6941. 

The first day of the 2026-27 school year is August 6, 2026.
