Remember the Bearkats! Calling all Bearkat alumni. Celebrating 100 years of Bossier Bearkat Football. Homecoming Week is October 12-16. The homecoming parade is October 13 at 6p.m. Homecoming game is October 16 at 7 p.m. at Bearkat Stadium.

Bossier High School is marking 100 years of Bearkat football, men's basketball, and women's basketball and the Bearkats are extending an invitation for you to celebrate with them.

The 2026 Centennial Homecoming theme — Remember the Bearkats — is a call to every person who has ever cheered, competed, coached or stood in the bleachers for Bossier High to come together and honor what has been built over a century.

Since 1926, Bossier High School has been woven into the fabric of this community. Its athletic programs have shaped generations of young people, united families across the city, and given Bossier something to cheer for every fall. This year, the Bearkats mark a full century of that tradition — and want to celebrate it with the people and organizations who have always been part of what makes Bossier great.

You are warmly invited to two free, public centennial events open to everyone in the community.

The Centennial Community Parade will start on Bearkat Drive near the football field and wind through the community, celebrating the people, spirit and history that 100 years of Bearkat football represents. The parade route is attached. The homecoming game will honor Bossier High alumni and the generations of players who built this program from the ground up.

The Bearkats believe that community is what makes Bossier City special, and there is no better way to Remember the Bearkats than surrounded by the people and organizations that have always cheered them on.
